Description
Three main types of soil: terraces on the banks of the Vienne river composed of gravel and sand, hillsides and mounds composed of yellow tufa and plateaus and mounds composed of flint clay and sand. Harvesting at high maturity (mid-October or even end of October). Vatting in concrete tanks. Maceration for 3 to 4 weeks at 25-30°c to extract the finest tannins. Malolactic fermentation under marc. One year breeding. Intense bright cherry color. A balance between red fruit aromas and spicy notes. Very supple with silky and velvety tannins, with great persistence .
