Description
This wine is named after the “Alta Valle del Calore” at the feet of the “Picentini” mountains. It has a huge structure together with a suitable freshness that makes it particularly suitable for aging and able to express an important potential in odor and taste with myrtle and licorice marks.The Aglianico is a grape already known since ancient times, originally from Magna Graecia, its name come from the vulgarization of the word “Ellenikon”. This wine is obtained from grapes in the same area as the more famous Taurasi and for this reason it has the DOC denomination with the specification Campi Taurasini. The characteristics of the grapes depend heavily on the soil and the climate of the area where it is cultivated.
