Varietals 90% Sangiovese, 10% Merlot
Winemaking Eight hectares of vineyards are cultivated producing 50.000 bottles of wine. The grapes are manually harvested in crates of 18 Kg. The fermentation is done in stainless steel and big oak barrels, at controlled temperature, pumping must over and making delestage following the characteristic of the vintage. All products are organic, controlled and certified by CCPB (Consortium for the Control of Biological Products ).
Aging The aging period is done in French oak tonneau and barriques during 12-24 months.
Organic grapes. Medium-bodied, dry. Dark fruit, vanilla, and floral notes on the nose with black cherry, currants, and plum on a broad palate. Expressive and rich with a supple finish. Pair with pasta and meat sauces, roasted red meat, turkey and duck, as well as al forno pasta dishes topped with cheese.
