Winemaking Eight hectares of vineyards are cultivated producing 50.000 bottles of wine. The grapes are manually harvested in crates of 18 Kg. The fermentation is done in stainless steel and big oak barrels, at controlled temperature, pumping must over and making delestage following the characteristic of the vintage. All products are organic, controlled and certified by CCPB (Consortium for the Control of Biological Products ).
Description
The Basile Artéteca has a pure, clear crystalline straw yellow color. On the nose, the wine is fruity, white stone fruit, (ripe) pear, quince, fine notes of yellow plum spicy, fresh grass, some hay, notes of linden. The taste is fruity, mineral, well balanced and offers a nice mineral almost salty frame, tension, flavor and juiciness. On the palate, this Artéteca expresses notes of juicy, crunchy green apple and quince and light notes of small yellow plum combined with fine notes of citrus and very light hints of hay (in the background). Good length. A very discreet salty hint in the persistent finish.
