Winemaking With a mixture of limestone soil and southern exposure, the vineyards yield high quality grapes, along with winemaker Silvano Rigo combining traditional and modern winemaking techniques resulting in quality wines of great value. Combining the old teachings of the people from Langhe and the innovations of new technologies, the winery uses both stainless steel casks and a dedicated room for aging wines in wooden casks and barriques, with constant humidity and temperature.
Aging Aged in stainless steel tanks, unoaked to preserve freshness.
Description
Pale slightly greenish brassy gold with white rim. The bouquet is fairly intense, with honeydew melon and some greenish accents supported by pleasant spice. On the palate it's a bit fuller than the chardonnay, with powerful fairly sweet white berry fruit, a mix of loquat and yellow peach supported by some honeydew melon , and by clean honeydew melon acidity that flows into a fairly long finish. Pleasant, in a richer slightly softer key -- there's more sweetness and less acidity -- and will work nicely as an aperitif or with grilled or roasted fish, and will also be nice with frittate and similar.
Straw-yellow in color, with greenish hues. Floral bouquet, with apple and mineral scents. Taste of white fruits, white flower, apple, pear and mineral notes. Classic wine of Piemonte. Very good as an aperitif. Pairs well with fish, rice dishes and vegetable dishes, salads and appetizers. Or pair with classic Piemonte recipe of Risotto Arneis, a perfect match.” – Winemaker Silvano Rigo
